This page says what the turingLabs website (turinglabs.in) does with information about you. It describes what the site does today, in plain terms.
Who we are
turingLabs is a product design studio founded and led by Ankit Kejriwal, based in India. We decide what is collected on this site and why.
What we collect
When you book a call. Your name, email address, timezone, any guests' email addresses and anything you write in the notes, plus your answers to the short questions in the booking flow. This goes to Cal.com, the scheduling service we use, which sends you the invitation. We use it to run the call.
When you start booking and do not finish. The booking form saves your email address, and your name if you have typed it, as soon as you have entered a real address, even if you leave before the last step. We keep it so we can follow up on the call you started to book. Nothing else in the form is saved until you submit it.
When you ask the assistant a question. The site has a chat assistant. We store each question and the answer, with no name or email attached, so we can see what people ask and improve the answers. Please do not put personal details in a question. To stop one visitor from sending thousands of questions, we also keep a scrambled (hashed) form of your network address for a short time. The question is sent to an AI service (Groq, or OpenRouter as a fallback) to write the answer.
As you browse. We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It sets cookies and receives your approximate location, your device and the pages you view. We also load OpenAI's pixel, which tells OpenAI about visits to the site so we can measure our advertising there; it receives your network address, your browser and the pages you view, and may set cookies. Separately, when you hover over or open a project on the homepage, we record that with a random number made for your visit, the project's name and whether you are on a phone or a computer. That number is not linked to your name or email.
In your browser. We keep that random number, and a few display settings, in your browser's own storage for the length of your visit. The site also loads a script library from unpkg, so that service sees your network address when your browser fetches it.
Who else handles it
Cal.com (scheduling), Supabase (our database: chat questions, visit counts and saved emails), Groq and OpenRouter (the assistant's answers), Google (Analytics), OpenAI (an advertising pixel), Vercel (hosting) and unpkg (a script library). Each handles information under its own terms. We do not sell your information or give it to advertisers.
How long we keep it
We keep booking details and saved emails only as long as they are useful for the reasons above. Chat questions are kept, without your name, for as long as they help us improve the answers. If you would like yours deleted sooner, ask.
Your choices
- You can ask to see, correct or delete what we hold about you. Depending on where you live, laws such as the EU and UK GDPR or India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act may give you that right. The ways to ask are on the contact page.
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and Google offers an opt-out add-on for Analytics.
- You can use the chat without giving any personal details.
Children
This site is for people who run or build software products. It is not meant for children.
