How we chose
Each studio had to show, on its own website, a base in Bangalore and digital products shipped for named clients. We checked every fact on the studio's own site on October 27, 2026, and read the Clutch rating where a site shows one. Where a site did not give a fact, the entry says so rather than filling the gap. The one studio whose base we confirmed with its own team, rather than from its website, is turingLabs: Bangalore, India, with work from Dubai as well. We left out studios whose public work is mostly branding, websites or marketing.
Three studios that other lists name for Bangalore are not in the entries: NetBramha, F1Studioz and GoProtoz. Each shows client work on its own site, but none gives a Bangalore office or address there. They will be added when their sites say where they are.

The studios
turingLabs
Based in Bangalore, working from India and Dubai · Sprint, Embedded and Fractional · Clutch 4.8 from 12 reviews
turingLabs is a product design studio for complex B2B software. It was founded in 2016 and embeds senior designers into Series A and B product teams, usually where the product is hard: financial planning, procurement, fraud and risk, and agentic workflows.
The studio's proof is in its case studies. Drivetrain, a financial planning platform, won G2's Usability award in 2025 after a full redesign that ran for about a year. The Drivetrain case study covers that work in detail. turingLabs was also Effectiv's sole design team for three years before Effectiv was acquired for $136 million. And the prototype turingLabs built for Hubble Money came before a $3 million Sequoia seed round.
Starting prices are published: a sprint of four to six weeks from $5,000, fixed price; embedded work from $4,000 a month; and fractional design leadership from $10,000 a month.
Less suited to: brand-only or website-only projects, and teams that want the design partner to build the whole front end, because we hand engineers specs and components rather than building the product ourselves.
Lollypop
Bengaluru office, plus the US, UAE and Vietnam · 180+ specialists
Lollypop is part of Terralogic, and its site describes a network of more than 180 specialists across India, the US, the UAE and Vietnam. Its services run from UX research and product design to service design and brand strategy. It offers a free audit to start. The site does not describe what the audit covers, so ask for its scope before you book. Recent clients named on the site include Upstox, Aha and SBI Caps.
Less suited to: teams that want a small, senior boutique team, because it is built as a network of 180 or more specialists.
Think Design
Registered in Bengaluru, with studios in Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Singapore · 100+ people · part of Havas
Think Design has worked since 2004. Its site describes research, service design and UI/UX work, and it offers three ways to engage: projects, pods and collaborations. The site describes Havas as its parent company, and describes the firm as the largest experience design specialist agency in Havas. Clients named on the site include Airtel, Grihum Housing Finance and Deccan Herald.
Less suited to: small teams that want one designer embedded day to day, since its model is built around projects and pods.
Onething
Koramangala office in Bangalore · offices also listed in Gurugram and San Francisco · Clutch 4.9
Onething's Bangalore office is in Koramangala, 8th Block. Its site also lists a Gurugram office and a San Francisco address. It shows a Clutch rating of 4.9, though not the number of reviews. Its named work includes Royal Enfield, Masters' Union and Norton, and a project for HDFC Invest Right. The site says a focused UI/UX project usually takes eight to 12 weeks, and a larger enterprise platform 16 to 18 weeks or more.
Less suited to: teams that want one senior designer embedded day to day, because its site describes project-based work.
Yellow Slice
Offices in Mumbai, Pune and Bangalore · 85 designers, according to its site
Yellow Slice's site lists offices in Mumbai, Pune and Bangalore, and the only street address it gives is in Mumbai. The site shows 85 designers, and names Paytm, MakeMyTrip and Axis Bank among its partners. Its engagement types are an MVP, a design sprint, a design partnership, an audit with optimisation, and hiring a UX/UI designer.
Less suited to: small B2B tools with a few expert users, where a smaller team usually fits better.
Octet
Bangalore office, plus Mumbai, Ahmedabad, the USA and Dubai · SaaS and B2B
Octet describes itself as a UI/UX design agency for SaaS, enterprise and B2B products, and lists sectors that include fintech, healthtech, logistics tech and martech. Its site shows case studies for Trackier and Nirvana, and says it provides dedicated designers as well as project work. It does not state its prices.
Less suited to: brand-led or campaign work.
When a local studio matters
Most studios work remotely now, so the city matters less than it used to. It still changes the work in three cases.
The first is workshops in the room. Kickoffs, research sessions and design reviews move faster when people sit together, and that matters most early on, while the team is still deciding what the product should do.
The second is a team that is already here. If product and engineering sit in Bangalore, a studio in the same city can join standups and whiteboard sessions without a time-zone gap. The benefit is ordinary, and it adds up over a long engagement.
The third is hiring. Once an engagement ends, you will need designers of your own. A studio in the city you hire from can help you find them, and can help you judge a portfolio when you do not yet know what to look for.
Location is not the first thing to decide on. Fit comes first: whether the studio has shipped products like yours, and whether its senior people will be in your work. Use the city as a tie-breaker, or as the deciding factor when you have an in-person reason.
What design costs
Most studios quote after a call. The prices that appear on the studio's own site are turingLabs's: a sprint of four to six weeks from $5,000, fixed price; embedded work from $4,000 a month; and fractional design leadership from $10,000 a month. Lollypop offers a free audit to start. The other studios in this list do not state prices on their sites, so ask each one for a range on a call, and compare what is included, not only the number.
How the engagement models differ
Studios sell a few kinds of work, and the right one depends on the problem more than on the size of the team. A sprint suits a single scoped problem: a targeted UX fix, a new feature, a focused redesign of one part of the product, or a design system. It is fixed price, and it is often a good first step for a team that wants to see how a studio works before committing to more.
An embedded engagement makes the studio an extended design team on a monthly retainer. The designer works alongside your team day to day, in your tools and standups, rather than handing work over from a distance. Fractional design leadership suits a team that already has designers but needs senior direction, or one that is building a design function from scratch. Ask each studio on this list which of these it sells, and what would be in each one.
What to ask a studio before you book
Whatever the studio, ask the same few questions, and compare the answers rather than the brochures.
Ask who will do the work. Find out whether the senior person on the call is the one in your standups, and how much of their time goes to your product. Ask for a product they have shipped that looks like yours, and whether it is still in use. Ask what the first two weeks look like and what you will have at the end of them. Ask where in-person sessions happen and how often they run. And if a free audit is offered, ask what it covers, because the scope is not always written down.
FAQs
Do I need a studio in Bangalore if my team is remote?
No. Choose on fit first: whether the studio has shipped products like yours, and whether its senior people will work on yours. A local studio helps mainly for in-person workshops, and when your product team is already in the city.
Can these studios work with US teams?
Most of them do. Lollypop, Onething and Octet list offices in the US or a US address, and turingLabs works mostly with US-based SaaS companies.
How long does a product redesign take?
One core workflow usually takes four to six weeks, which is the length of our sprint. Our embedded work runs three to 12 months. Onething's site puts a focused UI/UX project at eight to 12 weeks, and a larger enterprise platform at 16 to 18 weeks or more.
Should I pick the cheapest studio on this list?
No. Price is easier to compare than scope. A low monthly rate buys a set amount of time, and what that time produces depends on who spends it and on which problem. Compare what each studio would deliver for the problem you have, and then compare the price.
Can a studio design the design system as well?
Yes, if that is the problem. The turingLabs work on Drivetrain covered scoping, planning, the design system and execution as one piece, and a sprint can be scoped to a design system on its own.
